I'm a Mechanical Engineer turned Creative. After my stint as an engineering major I focused my studies in Studio Art with a Photography Emphasis at Texas Tech University. After freelancing in the Wakeboard industry out of college which led to an unfortunate loss of all my camera gear I began my work in retail. My short stay in retail management led to my new found passion of cycling.
Cycling has given me the ability to explore new facets of my creative abilities. Opening up a new world to explore in my design, video, and photography. Being able to explore terraferma on two wheels has given me a creative energy that flows throughout my work.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find the most efficient way to solve the creative problem at hand. Minimal clean design removes the noise often associated with overly dramatized design. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one I find most clear and defined while maintaining the goals of my clients. For me, my clients goals are of the upmost importance when it comes to creative work.
Creative work should bring up conversation between those consuming it. Generating a reaction that brings attention and pleasure to the viewer and fulling the end goal.
